Alleluia Veni Emmanuel uses the melody of the hymn O come, O come Emmanuel, customary for the last days of Advent.
Alleluia Rorate Coeli is based upon the chant of the same name.
Verses are provided for every Sunday in Advent and the feast of the Immaculate Conception. The words are taken from the 2024 Lectionary for Mass for England, Wales and Scotland.
