A gentle setting of the words of St John’s gospel chapter 15, reminding us how we can only grow in Christ.
Instead of Jesus speaking, the words have been flipped so that we are speaking to Jesus. We thank him for joining us to him, for his loving example of service, his choosing of us as his own people and his call to send us out to announce his gospel and bear the fruit that will last.
The verses are to the same tune as the refrain, to make learning the song easier. This piece can be sung either with the refrain between each verse, or straight through with the refrain repeated after the last verse 4.
